Copper Wire
Switch
Sandpaper
Wooden Piece
Step 1: Preparing the Base
Take a sturdy wooden piece to serve as the base of the sharpening machine.
Secure the DC RS-555 motor onto the wooden piece using screws or adhesive.
Step 2: Attaching the Sandpaper
Cut a circular piece of sandpaper according to the size of the motor shaft.
Attach the sandpaper firmly to the motor shaft using strong adhesive or a mounting disc.
Step 3: Wiring the Circuit
Connect the positive terminal of the lithium battery to one side of the switch.
Connect the other side of the switch to the positive terminal of the motor.
Connect the negative terminal of the motor back to the negative terminal of the battery.
Ensure all connections are secure using copper wire and soldering if necessary.

Step 4: Assembling the Components
Fix the battery holder onto the wooden base.
Secure all wires properly to avoid loose connections.
Position the switch in an accessible location for easy control.
Step 5: Testing the Sharpening Machine
Insert the battery into the holder and turn the switch ON.
The motor should start spinning, making the sandpaper rotate at high speed.
Carefully move the knife blade against the sandpaper in a controlled motion to sharpen it effectively.
Safety Precautions
Wear safety gloves and goggles while operating the machine.
Ensure all electrical connections are insulated to avoid short circuits.
Keep hands at a safe distance from the rotating sandpaper to prevent injuries.
