HUSKYLENS 2 Just Got Smarter
HUSKYLENS 2 v1.4.1 is now available, bringing a major set of upgrades to its vision AI experience.
With the new firmware, you can talk to HUSKYLENS 2 with Xiaozhi AI Assistant, deploy your own AI models, discover ready-to-use models in Model Hub, recognize license plates across more regions, and switch between eight system languages.

1. Xiaozhi AI Assistant Comes to HUSKYLENS 2
With Xiaozhi AI Assistant, HUSKYLENS 2 becomes more interactive than ever. You can ask questions, have a conversation, control the device with voice commands, switch algorithms, or ask what HUSKYLENS 2 is currently recognizing.
For example, you can ask:
- “What do you see?”
- “What’s the weather today?”
- “Tell me the face recognition result”
- “Run face recognition and color recognition.”

2. Upgraded Custom-Trained Model Installation Tool
HUSKYLENS 2 can now run custom models based on YOLOv8n and YOLO11n, giving you more freedom to build vision applications for your own projects.
Three computer vision tasks are supported:
- Object Detection
- Image Classification
- Instance Segmentation
Three input resolutions are supported:
224 × 224 · 320 × 320 · 640 × 640
The model deployment workflow has also been simplified, with a new Windows EXE tool that makes generating and installing model packages much easier.

Meet the new HUSKYLENS 2 Model Hub.
The new HUSKYLENS 2 Model Hub provides a growing collection of AI models that you can download and use with HUSKYLENS 2, making it easier to experiment with different computer vision capabilities and to quickly expand what your HUSKYLENS 2 can recognize.
And this is just the beginning — we'll continue adding more useful and interesting models to the Hub.

4. Expanded License Plate Recognition
HUSKYLENS 2 can now recognize license plates from even more countries and regions, including:
United States · Germany · Denmark · United Kingdom · France · Italy · Spain · Sweden · Belgium · Netherlands · European Union · Brazil · Hong Kong SAR, China
This makes HUSKYLENS 2 even more suitable for smart transportation, parking systems, robotics, and computer vision projects around the world.
5. New Multilingual System Interface
HUSKYLENS 2 is used by makers, educators, students, and developers around the world.
To make the experience more accessible, v1.4.1 adds support for eight system languages:
