    We are now accepting applications for the C4002 Human Presence Sensor Free Trial Program. We invite Home Assistant users, ESP32 developers, and makers to explore more applications of mmWave human presence detection.


    The C4002 is a 24 GHz mmWave human presence sensor that can detect whether a person is present in a space, including stationary presence and small movements. Compared with traditional PIR sensors, it provides more stable presence detection and is suitable for smart home automation and IoT projects.

    We will select 20 developers to receive free C4002 sensor kits for project development and testing.

    For every winner, you can choose a pack from the following three kits.

    - Kit 2: Home Assistant Kit (optimized for Home Assistant integration)


    - Kit 3: Multi-Sensor Fusion Kit (Enabling Richer Environmental Sensing)

    To qualify for this program, you must meet all of the following requirements:

    General Requirements

    - Your project must not contain inappropriate content.

    - Your project must be original, and you must own all related intellectual property rights.

    - Your project must include the DFRobot C4002 mmWave Human Presence Sensor.

    - Selected participants must complete and submit their project within 30 days after receiving the product. If you need more time, please contact us in advance.


    Content Requirements

    The following types of content will not be considered eligible:

    - Unboxing-only content.

    - Content mainly describing the product and its specifications.

    - Content unrelated to the product or the project itself.


    Outstanding Projects

    - Outstanding projects may receive Featured placement in the DFRobot Community

    - Promotion on DFRobot social media channels

    - Priority access to future product trials


    FAQ

    1. Do I need to pay for the product?
    No. DFRobot will provide the product free of charge. However, depending on your local regulations, you may need to pay import duties or taxes.
    2. When will the winners be announced?
    The selected participants will be announced on July 31, 2026.
    3. Can I submit more than one application?
    No. Each applicant may submit only one application. If multiple applications are submitted, only the first one will be considered.
    4. Can I use the product for other purposes?
    The product is provided only for project development under this program. Reselling or using it for commercial purposes is prohibited.
