Contest Requirements - Shape Your UNIHIKER: Creative Case Design Challenge
Specific requirements of participation
- Your entry must be original and cannot include any third-party intellectual property without permission. It should not have been previously publicly displayed in any form.
- Your entry must feature UNIHIKER as the core component or play a key role in the design.
- Your entry must not have been previously selected as a winner in any other contest.
- Your entry can utilize various design techniques, including 3D printing (recommended), laser cutting, woodworking, and other fabrication methods.
- Submissions must include a final physical showcase with clear photos or video to ensure quality and visibility.
- Submissions must be written in English.
- Submissions will only be accepted after Nov 22, 2024.

Winning Tips
Models that meet the following criteria will have a higher chance of winning:
- Practicality and Functionality: Designs should be functional and versatile. Suitable for multiple project uses.
- Originality: Designs should showcase innovative features and aesthetics, offering a unique and engaging user experience.
- High Quality: Designs should demonstrate solid materials, excellent structure, and durable finished products.
- Content Presentation: Submissions with detailed descriptions, clear photos, comprehensive assembly or operation instructions and editable .step or .dxf files (if applicable) will stand out. Detailed tutorials, such as videos or articles, may earn extra points.

Terms and Conditions
1. Your entries may NOT contain ANY of the following content:
- Sexually explicit, profane, or pornographic content.
- Unnecessary violence or derogatory remarks about any group.
- Promotion of illegal drugs, weapons, or political agendas.
- Obscene or offensive material as determined by the Sponsor/Administrator.
- Defamatory or disparaging content about third parties.
- Content inconsistent with the positive image or goodwill intended.
- Violations of any applicable laws.
DFRobot reserves the right to reject entries at their sole discretion if they violate these guidelines.
2. How will your entries be potentially used?
By submitting your entry, you agree to grant DFRobot an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to:
- Use, review, assess, test, and otherwise analyze your entry and all its content in connection with this contest.
- Feature your entry and all associated content in the marketing or promotion of this Contest, including but not limited to internal and external sales meetings, conference presentations, tradeshows, and screen shots of this contest entry Contests releases) in all media (now known or later developed).
3. How are prizes awarded?
- Limit one (1) prize per person or team.
- If you are a potential winner, we will notify you by email, social media message, or Discord message (if any) within seven (7) days following completion of judging. If the potential winner does not respond within 15 days of notification or is otherwise unreachable, the prize will be passed to a runner-up.
- If confirmed as a winner, prizes will only be awarded in countries or regions where product distribution is supported. Prizes will be distributed within 30 days. If delivery is not feasible, prizes will be substituted with a cash equivalent based on the product's retail value. Prizes are non-transferable, and if declined or unaccepted, they may be passed to a runner-up.
4. What if something unexpected happens and the contest cannot run as planned?
If cheating, fraud, technical issues, or unforeseen events (force majeure) compromise the fairness or integrity of the Contest, we reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend it. If the issue cannot be resolved, winners may be selected from eligible entries received before the disruption. Anyone found compromising the Contest’s integrity through cheating, hacking, or fraud may face disqualification, potential legal action, and a ban from future contests.
