Creating an Oil Price Display Program with Tkinter
Introduction
In today's world, accessing oil price information is crucial for drivers and those interested in the energy industry, especially in Thailand, where oil prices change frequently. In this project, we developed a program using Python along with Tkinter to display real-time oil prices by fetching data from the Bangchak API and presenting it in an attractive and easily understandable format.
Components of the Program
1.Installing Tkinter:
Tkinter is a library that comes with Python for creating GUI (Graphical User Interface), allowing users to create windows and interact with the program easily.
2.Fetching Oil Price Data:
We use the requests library to request oil price data from the Bangchak API. The retrieved data is displayed in our GUI.
3.Displaying Information:
The oil price data is formatted and presented in a Tkinter Text widget, with different oil types displayed in specified colors to enhance readability for users.
