Today, I will show you a "long-distance" and "high-precision" self-made high-standard measuring scale. High-end applications only require the best-quality ingredients and the simplest production methods. I have been busy for a few hours...
Go ahead! Let’s see it.
3D Shell Close-up
The combination of minimalism and technology, the encounter of surfaces forms a solid. Countless kinds of surfaces form countless solids. Here, a basic combination of four-sided surface and five-sided surface is used.
The edges are generally formed by chamfering to maintain the consistency of the overall style. Taking into account the user's hand feeling, the beveled edges are "rounded". Press the button to measure the distance, and the appearance of the function and effect will be displayed directly.

Infrared Laser Distance Sensor (50m/80m)
This is the gospel for OCD patient ------ an infrared laser distance sensor with an error within only 1mm. It is a high-performance distance sensor with high precision, long-distance use, visible infrared laser, small field of view and other characteristics. The indoor measurement distance is as high as 80m, and the outdoor measurement distance is as high as 50m. it is equipped with serial port to output, and is also compatible with various control boards such as Arduino.

Take the overall outer packaging of the Max Explorer as the test object. The packaging box is 23cm long, 18.5cm wide, and 14cm high, which is consistent with the data measured by the self-made luxurious scale. (Don’t doubt it, give it a try).
Length: 23cm
Width: 18.5cm
Height: 14cm
Long Distance
When the measurement distance exceeds the detection range specified by the sensor, the LCD display will display "Out of range";
If the detection range is not exceeded, the detected distance will be displayed in real time. When the detection distance is less than 1m, it will be displayed in cm; when it is greater than 1m, it will be displayed in m.
Step2: Operations
Hardware Connection Diagram
PS: How to make your wiring connected and not easily dropped? How can it be connected without damaging the terminal, how can the wire be reused, and how to debug is convenient and practical?
My lazy whimsy: the cooperation of conductive tape + insulating tape. The conductive tape increases the conductivity of the wires at each end, which can better make the wires tightly entangled, and will not affect the mutual conduction. Using the strong insulating tape, what a perfect couple.
