Path 2: Schools & Teachers


Step 1 – Apply for Trial:

Selected applicants will receive 1 K10 to create a lesson outline based on their curriculum.

Step 2 – Final Selection:

Teachers who pass the first round will receive multiple K10 units for classroom use.

Project Requirements:

To be eligible, you must meet ALL of the following requirements:


General Requirements

1. Your project is free from inappropriate content.


2. Your project is an original work and you have full and independent intellectual property rights to the work and the right to use it for this program.


Hardware/Software Build Requirements

Your project must include the UNIHIKER K10.


Content Requirements

The following types of content will not be considered eligible item content.


1. Unboxing  content.

2. Content involves a lot of descriptions of the product, its performance, etc.

3. Content involves a lot of descriptions that are not related to the product or this project.


Format Requirements – For Makers & Individual Educators

For Long Video Projects:


-Minimum length: 5 minutes

-Clear and bright visuals – avoid blurry or distorted footage that may compromise quality


For Short Video Projects:


-Submit at least 3 short videos


Each video should:

-Clearly demonstrate project highlights (e.g., features, results, usage)

-Be bright, stable, and easy to follow

-Can be uploaded to YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or TikTok


For Text + Image Projects:


Minimum 500 words, structured as follows:


-Project title

-Project introduction

-Bill of Materials (BOM)

-Step-by-step instructions

-Images of the process and final result

-Relevant resources (e.g., schematics, code, CAD files)


Projects published on external platforms (e.g., YouTube,Hackster, Instructables) may also be reposted or promoted via DFRobot’s global channels, including website, community, email newsletter, and social media – with proper credit.


Format Requirements – For Teachers (Lesson Plan Submission)

Phase 1: Lesson Outline (upon receiving 1 K10 unit)


Your lesson outline should include the following elements in English, minimum 400 words:


Lesson Title

Target Grade/Age Group

Subject Area (e.g., Computer Science, STEM, AI, Robotics)

Learning Objectives – clearly define what students will learn

Required Materials – including K10 and any accessories

Lesson Flow – brief description of teaching process (introduction, hands-on part, wrap-up)

Expected Outcomes – what students will build, demonstrate, or understand

Optional: Include one image (e.g., planning sketch or test setup)


Q&A

1. Do I need to pay for the trial application?

No, DFRobot will offer the products free of charge. Still, you may need to pay the potential tariff due to different countries and regions policies.


2. How will I know the application result?

Your application is expected to be reviewed by our product team within 3–4 weeks. Applicants who pass the review will receive a follow-up email. Those who are not selected will not receive further notifications. The list of selected participants will also be updated on the campaign page, so please stay tuned.


3. Can I submit a repeat application?

Please note that you only have one opportunity to submit your application, if you make multiple applications, the information from the first application will be used.


4. Can I use the products you offer for other purposes?

The products we offer to you are intended for use in the production of projects only. Profit-making activities such as the secondary sale of this product are not permitted.
